ASSEMBLY OF GOD PHILADELPHIA MINISTRY INTERNATIONAL

We are the Assembly of God Philadelphia International Ministry, affiliated to CEMADES (Evangelical Convention of Ministers of the Assemblies of God in the State of Espírito Santo) and affiliated to the General Convention of the Assemblies of God in Brazil (CGADB). AD PHILADELPHIA MI is led by Pastor Marcos Antonio Alves.

We are an Assembly of God that is the result of historic Pentecostalism and that seeks the marks that characterize a church centered on the Gospel. We started meeting in December 2000 with just 12 people in the city of West Springfield, Massachusetts in the USA.

After several years acting in this region called by the Americans of New England (New England). we moved the  headquarters of our Ministry to the  city of Charlotte, North Carolina, USA and we have already expanded our ministry tents to the city of Raliegh the capital of the state of North Carolina and also to Brazil, starting in the interior of Bahia, especially in the city of Bom Jesus da Lapa. With the biblical vision of taking the Gospel to every creature, AD PHILADELPHIA arrived and expanded its work to the cities of Criciúma and Siderópolis in the state of Santa Catarina, thus obeying the Ide of Jesus.

Our vision is to reach and awaken in each individual the desire for knowledge of the Holy Scriptures, so that all areas of his life (family, vocation, work, etc.) are perfect and perfectly instructed for every good work. So that the Word of the Eternal is known by all.

Our Mission is to announce the Gospel that is transforming lives and influencing the world. As?

1) Making disciples of all nations;

2) Baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit;

3) Teaching to keep all the teachings of Christ;

4) And love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself.

(Mt 28: 19,20 and 22: 37 – 39).

The ends of the good Work of Christ is salvation through unmerited favor, and the great achievement is eternal life, all of which is possible through the sacrifice on the cross. For this the Lord called us, to announce the gospel! But, for the consolidation of the call that He gave us, we cannot leave aside the Holy Scriptures which is our manual of conduct, our rule of faith! So that we don't get lost, we follow principles given by the Lord himself, some of which are HOLINESS, LOVE, OBEDIENCE and FAITH. This is what AD PHILADELPHIA values.
